The Influence of the Russian Invasion in Ukraine on the Georgian Politics

The Russian war against Ukraine is still underway but whatever its outcome, it will have a lasting effect on regional and global politics. In the case of Georgia, the impact may be especially big. There is an expectation in the Georgian society that the war will greatly affect Georgia’s international positioning as well as its domestic political situation. It is too early to discuss the long-term results of the war. This paper tries to assess the influence that it has already exerted on Georgia.

What is the World Religions Club? The Club of World Religions was established in 2012 in Tbilisi in partnership with the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development (CIPDD) and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS). It is a meeting place where people gather and listen to lectures on the history of the world's most common religions.

From October 1, 2021 to April 1, 2022, the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development, with the support of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, implemented the project "Mobile Booths for Vaccination" in Marneuli, Akhaltsikhe and Khulo municipalities. The project started at a time when vaccination against Covid-19 in Georgia was very slow and the virus was spreading very fast, especially in areas far from the capital and regional centers

Within the framework of the program of the Caucasus Institute and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a new project was launched ... The title of the project is: - "Empowerment of different religious groups in community and civic activities".The main goal of us and our partners is for the representatives of the non-dominant religious group to determine for themselves what their main message is, what stereotypes and labels they want to get rid of, and what are the most effective ways to solve these problems.
