We want democracy to be not a new dogmatic ideology, where the vanguard of society imposes the only correct idea on its “backward” fellow citizens, but a process in which citizens take responsibility for their political institutions. The Caucasus Institute is a catalyst for public discussion: we gain knowledge about public problems, offer the public their analysis, assessment and vision of solutions, and expand the circle of people who want and can engage in discussions on public problems.
