CIPDD resource centre has purchased new books. Among new ones you can find "Good and Bad Power: The Ideals and Betrayals of Government" by Geoff Mulgan. The author emphasizes the fact that in much of the world states remain oppressive, secretive and violent.

In CIPDD resource centre you have an opportunity to find a new book "Democracy: A Very Short Introduction" by Bernard Crick. This book is a short account of the history of the doctrine and practice of democracy, from ancient Greece and Rome through the American, French, and Russian revolutions, and of the usages and practices associated with it in the modern world.

We have established a resource centre for community activists and organizers. The CSD Resource Centre is located in the CIPDD office on the Tsereteli Avenue 72. It hosts a web-based information and communication space as well as a library stocking material on decentralization, participation and local development. The CSD Resource Centre is open to all.
