The Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development (CIPDD) is a public policy think-tank, specialized in a broad area of democracy development. CIPDD was founded in 1992 in Tbilisi, Georgia. It is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organisation. It advocates policy goals such as the development of a vibrant and diverse civil society, effective and accountable public institutions based on the rule of law and an integrated political community, which at the same time respects and preserves identities of different ethnic and religious communities in Georgia.

World Religions Club Course Completed! On July 20, the participants of the World Religions Club listened to the most interesting two lectures. The topic - politics and religion, talked about professor Tinatin Karosanidze; The second lecture about Islam was read by Tariel Nakaidze, the chairman of the Muslim Union in Georgia. The course of the course ended in Kutaisi!

On the 25th of June, 2018, the Caucasus Institute for Peace Democracy and Development hosted a group of Czech students! 15 students and their 3 academic staff members from Palacky University Olomouc’s Department of Development and Environmental Studies were in Georgia for a week-long academic visit.

On June 13th, 2018 in the Open Society Georgia Foundation office, a presentation was held on the Caucasus Institute`s study:ქართველი ავარელები - ჩაკეტილობა განვითარების წინააღმდეგ. The study mainly focused on interviews conducted with the inhabitants of 3 Avar villages, those of neighboring Georgian villages, representatives of the local government, non-governmental activists, and experts.
