Women’s Participation in Community Development – Experience and Challenges in Four Regions of Georgia
Community development is one of the aspects of civil society building and economic development in Georgia. International as well as local non-governmental organizations maintain their interventions in this field. According to experts, achievements as well as shortcomings are featuring these interventions. In September-November, at a meeting with the initiative groups of the project Participatory and sustainable development of Rural communities in Georgia", the participants discussed the community initiatives to be implemented and new opportunities for civic engagement. Participants: Dilifa and Ashtia Village (Ninotsminda Municipality, Riketi Village (Khulo Municipality), Kokotauri Village (Keda Municipality), Khospio, Shuakhevi and Rateani Villages. The project "Participatory and sustainable development of Rural communities in Georgia" is funded by"Bread for the World".

On October 29, 2020, at 12:00, at the invitation of the Caucasus Institute for Peace, Democracy and Development, an online presentation of the policy essay "Anti-liberal Nativist Challenge to Georgia" was held. Speaker,author of the essay - Ghia Nodia.
